Valerie Anne Autostraddle It’s an epic tale of magic, corruption, adventure, and friendship with complex characters and episodes that are thick with plot, drama, and humor. Nov 24, 2025 Full Review Dominic Baez Seattle Times An enjoyable enough return to the world of Exandria, even if it doesn’t live up to its stellar predecessor. Nov 17, 2025 Full Review Danae Stahlnecker Common Sense Media This swords and sorcery fantasy adventure is a fun adaptation of Critical Role's second Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Rated: 4/5 Nov 25, 2025 Full Review Ben Gibbons Screen Rant The execution in this series is extraordinary, and it all comes together to create something that exceeds its predecessor. Rated: 10/10 Nov 25, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Will you enjoy The Mighty Nein more if you know the lore from Critical Role? Probably. But you don’t need it to follow and enjoy the basic story of a motley crew trying to save their world from evil. Nov 24, 2025 Full Review Abhishek Srivastava The Times of India These early episodes move slowly but with purpose, and that steady rhythm ends up drawing you in. It’s a thoughtful, quietly confident show. Rated: 4/5 Nov 20, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member While it's great to finally see the Nein up on screen, the show is kind of a stumble. It takes it's sweet time getting going and takes it's self far more seriously than it probably should. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/30/25 Full Review JJ J. As a fan of the show from YouTube it’s amazing to see my favorite characters come to life. It’s amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/25 Full Review Judy T I found CR during 2020. It sustained me. I am so happy to see this adaptation and nothing has disappointed me so far. The music and magic are amazing. The lightning and character design are awesome. The new info has me intrigued. I hope they get to do the whole campaign!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/29/25 Full Review Willfram C Unnecessarily brutal and gory. Saving it from fewer stars are complex characters and an interesting story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/29/25 Full Review Joshua S Solid writing, storytelling, and animation, and entertaining characters. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/29/25 Full Review Matthew C To everyone complaining about writing, this is based off of a game of Dungeons and Dragons the developers (Critical Role) of the series played. Besides what background the dungeon master sets in place, everything is IMPROV. Everything that plays out in their adventure is the result of dice being rolled and specific skills each character may or may not have. Thanks for everything and keep it coming Critical Role.
