Critics Consensus

While frumpy action-hero Hutch Mansell tries to enjoy a nice vacation, Bob Odenkirk works overtime to make Nobody 2 a diverting sequel that measures up admirably to the original.

Audience Says

With wildly inventive carnage and audacious fight choreography, Nobody 2 invites you to vacation vicariously through Hutch Mansell.

Wendy Ide

Observer (UK)

This sequel reprises the family man-turned-badass formula but loses the deliriously enjoyable element of surprise and some of the slick efficiency of the mayhem.

My only issue with Nobody 2 is that it is perfectly content to replay what worked best in 2021’s Nobody and not put much thought into doing anything ambitiously different.

There is an interesting kind of Straw Dogs & Home Alone DIY thing about what happens... I always enjoy that sort of stuff.

Mac the Movie Guy

Bob Odenkirk is pulled back into random acts of violence for your viewing pleasure. It might not be at the same level as the first, but it’s all good man.

... what was clever and cute in the first seems repetitive and expected here, thereby undercutting what made the first feel unique and special.

Predictable and plays out nearly the same as the first film, but since the first film was a masterpiece I didn’t mind it
